Properties and Applications of Metal Fiber
Introduction to mechanical and service properties of metal fiber
Metal material properties are generally divided into process properties and service properties. Process properties refer to the behavior of metals under specified cold and hot working conditions during manufacturing, determining formability. Service properties include mechanical, physical and chemical properties under service conditions. Metal fiber retains metallic strength, conductivity, heat resistance, and adds textile flexibility and high specific surface, making it widely used in filtration, conduction, anti-static, heating and heat-resistant fabrics.
